The 2014 China Town Hall was truly a night to remember! The event opened with a networking reception filled with political dignitaries and business professionals. A nationwide webcast from the National Committee on U.S. – China Relations followed, with former president Jimmy Carter headlining. President Carter captivated audience members with his eloquent speech and intimate knowledge of American – Chinese diplomatic relations. After the webcast, local speaker Frank Jannuzi, President & CEO of the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation and former (1997-2012) Policy Director, East Asian and Pacific Affairs for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, engaged the local audience with his speech “Six Dragons Imperiling the Rise of China and Implications for U.S. – China Relations.” The China Town Hall is always a smashing success and this year was no different!

Payment at the door required a $10 surcharge and could only be made by cash or check. Advance registration was required for everyone, even if paying at the door, in order to allow City Hall access.
